ABOUT LioN and LaMb Fitness 

We are a health and wellness company born out of the desire to support the whole person, in an ever changing fitness industry, and, let's face ever-changing world.  Fitness and wellness should be accessible to everyone, and you will find that here.  The mission of Lion and Lamb  Fitness is to provide a variety of fitness classes, while supporting the whole person with continued learning through access to workshops, blog posts, community events, and fitness training.  Reveal your best self by allowing yourself to be your best version of yourself. 

We also set aside 10% of the profits each year to local, grass roots community charities.  Throughout the year, we also host donations based classes and support a wide variety of charities. Check out our page of charities that we have donated to!

You can also find us holding outdoor classes in the nicer weather, as well as within other small business spaces in the Rochester community (That page is coming soon too!)

Our Fitness Family

Jen Burke (Owner and instructor)
Group exercise instructor, Personal Trainer and Small Group Trainer

Jen has been working in the fitness industry for 17+ years teaching group exercise classes, small group personal training and individualized personal training.  She is an ACE certified Group Exercise Instructor and a NASM Personal Trainer.  She is certified in Yoga 1, Yoga 2, and Flowing Yoga through SCW and possesses multiple TRX qualifications. Jen has earned her certification for CardioYoga (TM) and Warrior Rhythm (TM)!  Jen is licensed to teach TurboKick Live (R) and PiYo Live (R), as well as SH1FT (R) and L1FT (R).  She has added SoulFusion (TM) and BarreFusion (TM) to our arsenal , too!  She has been teaching HIIT based formats for many years.   She also possesses a specialty in nutrition through ACE.  Jen has been a presenter of fitness workshops for fitness professionals through a Syracuse-based company, Flow Fitness Training for several years, as well and has master trained with a national fitness company.

Chris Romal
Barre and Pilates instructor

Chris has been a fitness instructor since 2011. After being an enthusiastic gym member for several years, she felt it was time to take her fitness to the next level both personally and professionally and became a certified instructor of several formats including: Barre, Bands for Barre and Booty, Pilates, Yoga 1, Body Chisel, Strength Training Past 50 and Indoor Cycling. Her certifications were completed through Barre Above, NETA, SCW, and Fitlife, and RAC. She looks forward to sharing in your fitness journey!
