Jen Burke, Owner, Instructor, Personal Trainer

Jen has been working in the fitness industry for 20+ years teaching group exercise classes, small group personal training and individualized personal training.  She is an ACE certified Group Exercise Instructor and a NASM Personal Trainer.  She is a 200-hour yoga instructor and possesses multiple TRX qualifications. Jen has earned her certification for CardioYoga (TM) and Warrior Rhythm (TM) and foam rolling!  Jen is licensed to teach TurboKick Live (R) , PiYo Live (R), and REFIT ®, a dance based format.  She has added SoulFusion (TM), BarreFusion (TM), and SOULKickboxing (TM) to our arsenal, too!  She has been teaching HIIT based formats for many years.   She also possesses a specialty in nutrition, children, behavior change, meditation, and aging populations.  Jen was a presenter of fitness workshops for fitness professionals through a Syracuse-based company, Flow Fitness Training for several years, as well and has master trained with a national fitness company.  Outside of the studio, Jen has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 27 years and is currently working with kindergarten through grade 5.  

Chris R.

 During the day, Chris is a Teaching Assistant in a 12:1:4 high school life skills program. I have been a Teacher Assistant in West Irondequoit for 20+ years.

 

She is certified in Barre Above level 1 and level 2, Barre, booty and band, Pilates, Yoga 1, Strength training past 50, Body Chisel and Indoor cycling.

Heather S. 

Heather has been a fitness instructor for the past 20+ years. She holds her 200-hour yoga certification from Atha (formerly Pele) Yoga Studio. She is also trained in rhythm-based cycling from Compass Cycle & Flow studio and Pilates. Over the years she has also taught a variety of strength classes, including P90x live. Heather has also been a teacher in the Rochester City School District. She is a Rochester native and loves to share her passion for fitness with her friends, colleagues, and students.

Karyn V. 

Karyn has been working as a fitness instructor for 20+ years. She holds a Group Exercise certification from NAFC and certifications in Cycling, Bootcamp, CardioKick and Pilates. Outside of the studio, Karyn is an avid runner and has competed 4 full marathons.

Melissa S.

Melissa has been passionate about fitness for 30+ years and is certified in POUND. She always enjoys a variety of formats and has made many friends over the years through their shared love of fitness. She has been employed by Rochester Regional Health for 15 years. She is a mom of one daughter and two cats and lives with her husband in Greece.

Gabby C., Personal Trainer

Gabriella received her personal training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She has worked with many well-known personal trainers along her journey.  Her passion for health and wellness began 20 years ago, with playing soccer and in the gym in my late teens. She met her husband in a local gym 10 years ago.  She believes the true secret to being healthy & strong simply requires discipline, dedication, and consistency.  Gabby is a believer that your body should be celebrated and that small daily deposits can ultimately help guide us to our successes. 

Gabby has a great amount of experience with weight lifting for muscle growth and muscle endurance. Working out should be a part of all of our lives to stay strong, mobile, and balanced for longevity. 

 

Aside from the gym, she loves to spend time with her husband and their four-legged fur babies. We have 2 beautiful rescue dogs that our worlds revolve around. If she’s not cooking, walking the dogs, or spending time with her parents, you can find her sipping a great cup of coffee on her back deck, looking at nature while listening to Sade.
